[…] Lithuanian Rosary Prayers, December 8, 2012 […]
Syte,
Today was the first day I had a chance to try to pray along with you. I’m getting the Sveika Marija pretty well, since it’s the one that is repeated most often. I’m stumbling a lot on the rest of them, but trust that they will come with time and effort. I have to say, it’s the first time I’ve ever done a pray-along with my computer and headphones!
Thank you so much for making this wonderful resource available. May God bless you richly for your service to His kingdom.
Patrick
Thanks for your encouragement, Patrick!
What a blessing that we can pray the rosary together virtually.
May God bless you for your devotion to the rosary, too.
Syte,
After almost a year of regular use, I am fairly adept with Sveika Marija and Teve musu. Since my rosaries are multi-lingual, and the creed only happens once in a rosary, I have less impetus to learn it in my several languages. However, I am in the habit of reciting the Fatima prayer (O my Jesus, forgive us all our sins, save us from the fires of hell…) after each decade. I wonder if it would be a lot of trouble for you to add it to the resources you are already offering.
Patrick

Thanks, Patrick-
Congratulations on your achievements!
What dedication, and love of the rosary!
I am sure God will bless you richly.
I have the Fatima prayer in Lithuanian, now need to record it and put it up on the website.
Will try to do it soon, but cannot guarantee exactly when, with Christmas coming, and one of my sons getting married early January!
I will try to notify you when done.
Have you seen the free downloadable “How to Pray the Rosary” PDF at http://sytereitz.com/2013/10/how-to-pray-the-rosary-mobile-pdf/ and the website version at http://sytereitz.com/2013/10/how-to-pray-the-rosary/ ? Includes some art and scripture references.
God bless,
Syte
Thankyou so much. Mom is in a nonresponsive state after a stroke. It is just matter of time. But she loved hearing it because she used to read and write and speak it. I play it by her ear.
